At United Way, we know that mental health support is key to ensuring everyone in our community can live a healthy and successful life.

Mental health support is at the core of every program and initiative at Meta House, which is funded in part by donations to United Way.

In this episode of Living Local, we talk to Carryn Sami, director of development at Meta House, a local nonprofit that works to break the generational cycle of addiction by healing women and strengthening families.

We then hear from Tasha, a local woman who turned to Meta House during a dark time in her life. Today, Tasha is thriving and living a healthy and successful life with her three daughters. But her journey wasn’t easy.

Your donation to United Way’s Community Fund or Health issue area support Meta House and other local programs that help people heal. Donate by clicking here.
