October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. At United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, we are proud to partner with local programs that help survivors of violence get the resources they need to live safe and healthy lives.
Recently, we had the privilege of sitting down with leaders of three local agencies offering services to survivors across our four-county region with the idea of creating a video. The conversations were so powerful and there was so much that we couldn’t fit into the 4 minute video that we knew we wanted to create a podcast episode dedicated to sharing their words.
