Engage your team in a volunteer project from wherever you are! The older adult support kit packing project brings volunteers together to create kits that make everyday living a bit easier for older adults across our region.

The Impact

When older adults don't have the safety items they need in their home, they can feel anxious, isolated, and unsafe. The Older Adult Support Kits helps them feel safe and provides a sense of independence in their living situation. The feeling of isolation can occur as well so these kits include items to help stimulate their minds and make them feel more connected.

The Older Adult Support Kit includes:

Flashlight
Jar Grippers
Clorox Cleaner Wipes
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Safety Socks
Facial Tissue
Activity Booklet
Pen
Resource Card

This project impacts the following in our community:

Individuals who are isolated at home.
Older adults you are in day programs.
Nonprofit partners serving older adults.
