United Way Donor Networks

A Look Back on our 2024 Leadership Society and Donor Networks

As we wind down the year, we're looking back at some of our favorite highlights in 2024. No matter which network(s) you're a part of, we know that we're better together. We are all like-minded leaders who believe in creating lasting change.

There's still time to make your 2024 Leadership Gift and for current Leadership donors to join a Donor Network. To verify a 2024 gift or 2024 Donor Network membership, visit us here or email Natalie Worcester at nworcester@unitedwaygmwc.org.

We're excited for what 2025 has in store!

Women United

Women United SPREE

Become a Mental Wellness Ally

On Wednesday, October 9, nearly 100 individuals came to the Johnson Controls Volunteer Center for our Women United for Youth Mental Wellness event. The educational session featured presenters Mary Madden, CEO of NAMI Southeast Wisconsin and Dr. Bethany LoPresti, PhD, Executive Director of Behavioral Health, Froedtert Hospital.

Women United uplifts the key initiative Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds. At this event, we asked individuals to consider becoming a Mental Wellness Ally. United Way's Mental Wellness Allies are engaged and passionate individuals who actively participate in our education and advocacy efforts.

Allies raise awareness about youth mental wellness, engage with policymakers, and champion legislation around mental health resources. Our next focus is to prioritize school-based mental health funding in the next state budget by engaging Wisconsin's Legislature.

Please contact Nancy Clarkin with any questions.

Retire United

Diversity Leadership Society

Volunteer United

Thank you to the many retirees who shared their time in November to help pack diapers and wipes for families in our four-county region. Many families do not have the resources to afford a sufficient supply of diapers for their children.

United Way's Diaper Bank ensures parents have access to an adequate number of diapers to keep their children dry and healthy. Since the Diaper Bank's inception in 2021, nearly 1 million diapers have been distributed!

You can support the Diaper Bank year-round by giving here.
