Technology United
2024 CIO Forum
Technology United's CIO Advisory Board hosted the 2024 Technology United CIO Forum on March 8. The event was a great success, with over 400 in attendance, and $650,000 raised for United Way.
To celebrate International Women's Day, we hosted a panel on women in technology. We also honored Jane Durment with the Technology United Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to this event over the last 14 years!
Participants had the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, a round table, and networking, with over 50 CIOs, CISOs, and Technology Executives. They also heard about United Way's impact in the technology space, including our key initiative, Techquity, and the work being done with local nonprofits and students.
Thank you to our event sponsors and attendees for making this the best event yet! Check out our 2024 CIO Forum webpage to view recordings of the live panel discussions.
If you are interested in supporting Technology United, please reach out to the Technology United Engagement Manager, Cassidy Korpela.

Pride United
Pride United Supports Safe & Stable Homes
Pride United is excited to announce that we will be supporting Safe & Stable Homes as our 2024 Key Initiative.
The goal of Safe & Stable Homes is to prevent homelessness whenever possible for families, and when it can't be prevented, make homelessness a brief, one-time experience. Safe & Stable Homes has led Milwaukee & Ozaukee counties to be the first in the country to declare that they've met the federal criteria for ending family homelessness.
In 2024, we are excited to announce that – as leaders in the Queer Community – Pride United will support the Safe & Stable Homes initiative and increase its capacity to support Queer parents and youth at risk of homelessness. The intersection of the LGBTQ+ community with the issue of homelessness is deeply rooted in systemic failures during crucial stages of life, hindering individuals from embracing their authentic selves.

Retire United
Tax Time is Here!
Did you know? A charitable IRA rollover makes it easy to use your IRA assets to make charitable gifts. Your qualified charitable distributions can satisfy all or part of the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA.
This provision allows individuals to make a charitable contribution directly from their IRA without treating the distribution as taxable income. While you cannot claim a charitable deduction for IRA gifts, this distribution from your IRA counts toward your minimum required distribution for the account and does not trigger income tax for you. Contact your tax advisor to learn more.
