Pride United
Pride United Gathers
In early October, members and prospective members of Pride United gathered for an evening of networking and impact with our hosts, Husch Blackwell. Attendees heard from United Way leadership, Pride United Equity Fund partners, and Black Space HQ.
This is one of the first public gatherings for Pride United and it was great to see the network come together to meet each other in person.
Allies and Advocates Welcomed!
"Having been in the wedding industry for the past 10+ years and during the time of gay marriage legalization in 2015, there has never been a more critical time to keep pushing love forward. When United Way launched Pride United, I jumped at the opportunity to support our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters by providing visibility, support, and funding opportunities for organizations doing amazing work in these spaces. I want to be part of making our world a more loving and inclusive place for future generations."
-Angela Quigley, Co-Owner of Married in Milwaukee
