Building Organizational Capacity: Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is a resident-led neighborhood organization in north side Milwaukee's Lindsay Heights neighborhood that is committed to sustaining an economically diverse community through civic engagement, environmental stewardship, and creating venues for prosperity.

Walnut Way was founded by residents with the aim of reclaiming the neighborhood and spur abundance and prosperity for its residents. This vision of a resident-led movement has continued to drive the organization’s focus on resident leadership and place-based focus. (Racial Equity Fund)
