At United Way, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and meaningful environment for staff and volunteers. 


 

Benefits

United Way offers a comprehensive benefits plan including Medical, Dental and Vision. In addition, United Way offers the opportunity to contribute to a 403b through Mutual of America. Our 403b contribution is 5.5% of monthly pay after 1,000 hours of service or prior non-profit experience. United Way matches 70% of employee contributions up to the first 5% of monthly pay the first of the month following the hire date.

United Way provides staff with vacation, personal days, paid holidays, and sick days. Holidays currently include New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Additionally, staff are allowed to use one full paid day per year for volunteering!

United Way provides opportunities for staff to participate in several growth opportunities including DEI training, guest speakers, and all staff meetings.

 

Current Positions

Temporary Positions

Each year, our Annual Campaign runs from August through December. During this time, we rely on the help and efforts of over 30 temporary full-time staff to accomplish our campaign goals. Positions are held in departments such as Resource Development, Volunteer Engagement, Pledge Processing, and e-Way (Digital Systems).
