Volunteer Opportunities
American Red Cross
American Red Cross has an urgent need for volunteers in the following roles extending into the weekend. They are looking for 5-10 volunteers per role. Flexible split shifts are available.
Milwaukee Front Desk Support
Help answer phones and direct calls at the Milwaukee office. Shifts available: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m..
Emergency Supplies Distribution Ride-Along
Assist in distributing cleanup kits throughout the city. No driver’s license needed — just ride along to provide essential supplies to affected families. Shift: 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. You can split this time depending on your availability.
Return Phone Calls to Individuals Needing Assistance
Help us connect with community members affected by the flooding by returning their calls and providing information or referrals. Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., with flexible split shifts available.

Salvation Army
Individual and team volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of urgent projects and tasks to support families impacted by the flood including:
- Distribution of Clean Up/Flood Kits at 3 locations through a Salvation Army Corps Community Center (Citadel on Villard, Cold Springs, and Oak Creek)
- Distributing hydration and snacks through neighborhoods most impacted
- Unloading Flood kits when they arrive at the Distribution Warehouse 5880 N. 60th Milwaukee
- Packing snack packs at the Distribution Warehouse

Samaritan's Purse International Relief with Elmbrook Church
Individual and team volunteers are needed to assist with helping homeowners in your area that were affected by the recent flood disaster.
Volunteers will focus on:
- Removing furniture from homes and bringing to curbs
- Assisting with general flood clean-up
- Tarping open roofs
- Assisting with tree and debris clean-up
Volunteer shifts available Monday - Saturday, AM shift from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and PM shift from 12:30 p.m.-4p.m.
