Every year, United Way’s Campaign is led by four Campaign Co-chairs and over 150 volunteers that make up the Campaign Cabinet. This group is comprised of leaders from all sectors of our local community working together to encourage individuals and organizations in supporting local issues effecting Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Waukesha counties.

Deloitte LLP

P.J. DiStefano is the Wisconsin Managing Partner of the Milwaukee practice at Deloitte LLP, leading business activities in the state. He is also CFO of Deloitte’s U.S. Audit & Assurance business and serves as lead client service and audit partner for major clients.

He has over 28 years of experience advising clients on strategy, governance, audits, and complex accounting matters. P.J. is the past chair of the Milwaukee Public Museum and serves on the boards of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Marquette University’s College of Business Administration Advisory Board, All In Milwaukee, and Cristo Rey High School.

He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts

Michael R. Evans is President of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Marcus Corporation, leading a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts nationwide since 2020. Previously, he was CEO of Apex Capital Ventures, a real estate company he founded in 2017. He was also COO of MGM Hospitality and Executive Vice President of Global Development for MGM Resorts International, responsible for strategic development worldwide. 

Michael held senior management roles with Marriott International and began his career as an attorney in Miami. He holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida.

BMO

Anthony Hudson is U.S. Head of Distribution for BMO, overseeing employee experience, client loyalty, and profitability across the U.S. branch network. Previously, he served as Regional President, Head of Retail Banking for BMO in Wisconsin. Prior, Hudson led the Economic Equity Advisory team for BMO within their EMpower initiative. Here Hudson helped launch and accelerate work to foster inclusive economic recovery across the U.S. footprint. 

Today, Anthony serves as trustee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and is a committee co-chair for Project REACh, an organization launched by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, focused on economic access and change. Hudson was named a 2024 Milwaukee Top 100 Power Broker and a 2017 Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 awardee.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from Xavier University in Cincinnati and completed an executive banking program through the Consumer Bankers Association at Furman University.

Community Smiles Dental Retiree

Renee Ramirez is CEO Emeritus of Community Smiles Dental, a nonprofit dental clinic she founded in 2008. Under her leadership, the clinic expanded to Menomonee Falls and began plans for a Milwaukee location, providing over $35 million in care to 35,000+ patients. Community Smiles Dental was named Waukesha County Executive’s Large Nonprofit of the Year and received national recognition as a “gold star” pediatric dental program. 

Renee serves on the First Business Bank Advisory Board, ProHealth Care Foundation Board, Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation Board, and Waukesha County Community Foundation Board. She has received the Rotary Paul Harris Award, UW Badger of the Year, City of Waukesha’s “Key to the City,” Women of Distinction, and Justinian Society’s Citizen of the Year.

She holds a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed the Harvard Business School Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program.
