To have the biggest impact, while providing a meaningful engagement experience for your team, please consider providing a sponsorship to Backpack Coalition.

Financial sponsorship is a requirement in order to assemble backpacks. Due to the heavy nature and high volume or product, all 2026 packing shifts will be held at our United Way Volunteer Center (200 W Pleasant St.) from July 27 to July 31.

The deadline to provide sponsorship to the program is June 1, 2026.
 
Why is it beneficial to work with United Way?

• We take care of the event planning and logistics. We also provide a presentation to demonstrate your impact to kick off the experience.
• We make your dollars stretch by purchasing school supplies in bulk with our preferred vendors
• We will highlight your organization's support in a variety of ways including webpage spotlights, social media posts, and more.

Sponsorship Levels

$30 outfits one student with a backpack plus all the supplies they need to start the school year off right.

•  Helping Hand:  $1,000 - $2,999
•  Community Champion:  $3,000 - $4,999
•  Student Success Supporter:  $5,000 - $7,499
•  Lifelong Learning Advocate:  $7,500 – $9,999
•  Future Maker:  $10,000 +

Volunteers that participate in our packing events will be recognized on their nametags with their workplace's sponsorship level.
