Pride United Homecoming is a joyful celebration with a powerful purpose.
Created by Pride United this event invites LGBTQ+ adults and allies to reclaim the homecoming experience in a space where everyone is seen, safe, and celebrated.
You can expect:
- Danceable tunes from the incomparable DJ Shawna, Official DJ for the Milwaukee Bucks
- Food Trucks & Desserts from Lola's Empanadas, Tot's on the Street, Everyone's Ice Cream, and Happy Joy Candy Co.
- Historical LGBTQ+ Displays depicting notable Queer folks in the Midwest.
More than a celebration, Pride United Homecoming will include fundraising opportunities for guests to support United Way’s Safe & Stable Homes initiative, which works to end family homelessness by preventing evictions and increasing access to stable housing. With nearly 40 percent of the homeless population identifying as LGBTQ+, this event raises critical funds to help ensure that everyone, regardless of identity, has a place to call home.
Join us to celebrate love, build community, and be part of lasting change.
