United Way's kit-packing experiences address critical resource needs across our community by inviting volunteers to pack basic supplies. We can offer different levels of project support based on the needs of your organization. We make it easy to get started!
These group experiences are perfect for workplace teams, community organizations, professional networks, youth clubs, etc.
For organizations without a formal budget who feel comfortable managing some project elements on their own.
United Way provides:
✔ Shopping list and planning toolkit.
✔ General presentation for your group (video or live, depending on availability).
✔ Identification of recipient(s) for your completed kits.
For organizations with a budget looking for ease and efficiency. Budget required; Minimum 4 weeks planning time.
✔ Supplies ordered and shipped to your door.
✔ Tailored presentation and learning session for your group (virtual or in-person).
✔ Transportation and delivery of completed kits from your facility to recipient(s).
✔ Ongoing project support.
For special or large scale workplace events, etc. Budget required; Minimum 6 weeks planning time.
✔ All Full Service benefits.
✔ Customized project planning support and on-site management.
✔ Curated kit experience that meets your specific needs/event.
✔ Branding opportunities on kit contents/packaging (if available).
✔ Multi-market (multiple city/facilities) project facilitation and expansion.
✔ Curbside Caring project option available to engage volunteers remotely.
Assemble packages or much needed essential baby items for local parents, caregivers, and their infants.
Build pencil pouch packs that are full of school supplies to benefit local students.
Create personal care packages of essential hygiene and self-care supplies for local men, women, and children in need. Veteran’s Support kits also available.
Create packages of engaging and long-lasting art supplies to help local children's creativity grow.
Build packs of healthy snack items and decorate with encouraging messages all for local children in need.
Assemble care packages for local community members who are in need of items to stay warm during the long Wisconsin winters. Items include scarf, hat, hand warmers, helpful resources, and more.
Support members of our community transitioning from homelessness into homes of their own, by assembling kits of helpful resources and new home supplies.
Create basic wellness and flu-fighting kits for local community members across our region.
