Find Your Next Project on Our New Volunteer Database
February 2, 2016
There’s a new and easier way to make a difference in our community – Volunteers United! This new online database is an efficient, “go-to” site to find hundreds of volunteer opportunities in the 4-county region.
United Way is hosting the site and collaborating with the Nonprofit Center who has joined the effort by providing their members access to the system.
The Volunteers United site makes it easier for:
- Volunteers to match their interests to volunteer activities
- Agencies to post opportunties
- Everyone to share projects through social media
Volunteers play a huge role in our Milwaukee and Waukesha communities. Volunteers United will provide us with a critical resource to enable community members to connect with opportunities to strengthen our communities.
-- Ben Hastil, MSW, APSW
Coordinator of Volunteer & Back-Up Services, Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center.
