United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is excited to announce a goal of $60,125,000 for its 2016 Community Campaign and its first ever volunteerism goal of 16,750 volunteer hours to be completed during Season of Caring which runs from August through December.
Share on social media how YOU are making an impact this fall!
Chairman of the board Greg Marcus and the 2016 campaign co-chairs helped rally the crowd of 500+ attendees. This year’s co-chairs include: Steven Saloutos, Executive Vice President U.S. Bank; Larry Blanton, Sr. Vice President & General Manager of MetalTek International; Jacqueline Herd-Barber, Community Volunteer; and Richard Meeusen, Chairman, President & CEO of Badger Meter in Brown Deer.
Another highlight for the crowd of community leaders and nonprofit agency professionals heard inspirational stories from people in the four-county region who were helped by United Way. The stories focused on how United Way is tackling tough issues such as alcohol and opioid addiction, homelessness, and early childhood literacy in the community.

United Way’s campaign runs through December 14. Check out ways to get involved.
Special thanks to U.S. Bank for their generous sponsorship of the 2016 Community Campaign Kickoff.
