Volunteers Ensure Kids are “Born Learning”
Main Content
Two Born Learning Trails in Waukesha County received a much needed facelift in June. Volunteers from Waukesha Family Practice Center and We Energies helped paint and restore the trails at Cutler Park in Waukesha, and Nettesheim Park in Pewaukee.
Born Learning Trails are an integral part of United Way’s Helping Kids Succeed Initiative. It’s a great tool that creates quality, early-learning opportunities for children. It also helps increase parental engagement. The trail consists of a variety of interactive signs. For example, Watch! Stop! Learn & Play encourages adults to follow a child’s lead to help build their curiosity and confidence.

A special thanks to all our United Way Corporate partners who provided the funding for the Born Learning Trails. We appreciate your dedication to helping kids in our community succeed.
