United Way's 2025 Campaign Closing Event

December 12, 2025

This year's Campaign Co-Chairs celebrated, along with our community, a successful 2025 Community Campaign last night at WEC Energy Group in Milwaukee.

On December 11, 2025, at WEC Energy Group in Milwaukee, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County gathered with our Campaign Co-chairs, cabinet members, and the community to celebrate our 2025 Community Campaign closing event. Together, with donors like you, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County raised $58,670,450 for our community this year

Together we celebrated the stories and the people who made this year's campaign a true success. We proudly announced that, with the help of community leaders and partners, local nonprofits, and donors, we have met the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness' 58 criteria for ending family homeless in all four of our counties. Read more about this achievment here.

Thank you to our Campaign Co-Chairs Kurt Bechthold (Walbec Group), Steve Booth (Baird), Raquel Filmanowicz (VC 414), and Scott Lauber (WEC Energy Group & We Energies) for leading this year's campaign, and thank you to We Energies for sponsoring our closing event. And thank you for being part of this work, for believing in what’s possible, and for helping our community rise. United is the Way we create a stronger, more hopeful future.
