You can also make an immediate difference by packing kits with critically-needed resources right from the comfort of your own home. United Way provides all supplies, you simply pick up and return your packed kits to one of our offices for distribution to local nonprofit partners.

Lunch, Learn + Do: Empowering Minds

Wednesday, March 8
 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. CST on Zoom

It's not easy being an adolescent or a young adult. Not only are they experiencing physical, hormonal, and emotional changes that can be uncomfortable and confusing, but they're also dealing with societal expectations and challenges. To add to that, we know more students than ever before are experiencing poor mental health post COVID-19.

Join United Way to learn more about our newest initiative, Empowering Minds, and how we are bringing the right people to the table to address youth mental health.

You'll also pack mental health support kits at home via Curbside Caring volunteer project to support this work.

Volunteers must register separately for both activities.
