Techquity Volunteer Opportunities

Main Content

Distribution events help connect people with an essential digital resource – laptop computers. At a distribution event, eligible individuals can enroll for a computer of their own.

United Way’s Techquity initiative is focused on connecting job seekers, students, and others to computers and internet access to ensure everyone has the technology to succeed in our digital world.

THIS SITE IS FOR VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP ONLY.

We cannot accommodate walk-in requests for computers.
Volunteers do not receive a Computer if they sign up to volunteer.

See information at the bottom of this page about laptop computer eligibility.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers will help with computer registration and assist guests as they navigate through the distribution event. Additionally, volunteers will help guests with the setup of, and basic questions about, their new computer.

Location:
United Way Johnson Controls Volunteer Center
