Intern Day of Action: Advocacy

Tuesday, July 19, 2022

12:00 PM to 12:45 PM

Details:

United Way's highly popular Intern Day of Action provides a unique opportunity for college student interns and seasonal staff to participate in local volunteer experiences that make an immediate, visible impact on our greater community. This year, over 500 interns from 14 different companies are coming together to impact the community across 21 different in-person and virtual projects.

Through this experience, participants are exposed to the importance of civic engagement, corporate social responsibility and how that relates to your organization’s corporate culture and commitment to our region. Interns are also made more aware of the critical issues facing our four-county community.

Advocacy & Finding Your Passion

Registration to participate in in-person projects is now closed, however if you would like to register your interns to participate in our virtual project, please email Karissa Gretebeck at kgretebeck@unitedwaygmwc.org.
