Mike Carter
Northwestern Mutual
Michael G. Carter is executive vice president – chief financial officer (CFO) and chief risk officer (CRO) of Northwestern Mutual. He is responsible for the company’s financial management functions and enterprise risk management oversight. His professional affiliations include the Wisconsin State Bar, American Bar Association, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Born and raised in Delavan, WI, Michael is committed to the greater Milwaukee community. His current and past board service includes United Way, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Dominican High School, Milwaukee Public Museum, First Stage Children’s Theater, and Sojourner Family Peace Center. Michael was a longtime cabinet member of both United Way and the United Performing Arts Fund. He is also a former board member of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, HEAR Wisconsin, Inc., St. Eugene’s School, Fox Point Foundation, and Marquette University High School. Michael received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, Chapel Hill, NC.
Linda Gorens-Levey
General Capital Group
Linda Gorens-Levey is a partner at General Capital Group, a real estate development company headquartered in Milwaukee. Linda’s expertise encompasses financial analysis and deal structuring, but her specialty is leadership—solving problems and building consensus among dissimilar people and competing interests to bring projects across the finish line. Linda is currently a Trustee at the Medical College of Wisconsin where she chairs the Finance Committee and a Director at Ixonia Bank.
Linda has served on more than a dozen boards, including nearly a decade of service with United Way. Linda was inducted into the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame and selected to the Business Journals’ national list of 100 influential commercial real estate executives. She has received honors for mentorship and women’s leadership from several organizations in the Milwaukee area. A certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst, Linda holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Nancy Hernandez
ABRAZO Marketing/Hispanic Collaborative
Nancy Hernandez is the founder of the Hispanic Collaborative, a civic initiative housed out of the Metro Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) aimed at improving outcomes for Hispanics and moving Milwaukee into a Top 10 city on the Hispanic Wellbeing Index. She has built a coalition of over 500 individuals and organizations making strides in Latino entrepreneurship, voter turnout, and median household income through career upskilling. Prior to this, Nancy founded ABRAZO Marketing and grew it to the leading integrated marketing firm dedicated to connecting companies, institutions, and organizations with diverse audiences.
Passionately engaged in the Milwaukee community, Nancy has served on the boards of United Way, Marquette University, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Milwaukee Public Library Foundation, Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, MMAC, and others. She holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from Lakeland College.
Judie Taylor

Judie Taylor is president and CEO of Enterforce Inc. and DUECO Safecurity LLC. With over two decades of driving business and sales growth with her family’s company, Judie's passion now extends to helping other businesses operate in the most efficient, safe, and secure manner.
Judie is deeply rooted in the Waukesha County community and greater Milwaukee region. She has actively served on fourteen for-profit and nonprofit boards and organizations, contributing to their overall direction and success. Her board service experience includes ProHealth Care, St. Camillus Health System, Waukesha County Community Foundation, Mount Mary University, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, La Casa de Esperanza, Journey 21, United Way, and Utility Equipment Holding Corp. (UEHC). Judie is a Milwaukee Business Journal Woman of Influence and a Waukesha County Women & Girls Fund Family of Distinction recipient. Judie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Creighton University.
