Each year, thousands volunteers come together for United Way’s Season of Caring. In 2016, United Way’s Volunteer Engagement Division set an ambitious goal for volunteers in our community: commit 16,750 hours of time to help local non-profits and people in need. However, volunteers in our community far exceeded this goal, dedicating 21,124 total hours!
Here are some of the best moments from the 2016 Season of Caring:
Milwaukee Public Schools volunteers play Santa by unpacking, sorting, and preparing thousands of toys to be handed out at Boys & Girls Clubs.
Bon-Ton lends a hand in the kitchen at Grand Avenue Club.
Froedtert Health teams up with Mortenson Construction in helping clients of Interfaith Senior Centers.
The Links group gets together to give back by packing shoeboxes with crucial health and hygiene products.
