The old adage Lead by Example isn’t something new for Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele and Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. In fact, when both politicians were asked to appear on a larger than life billboard on I-94 representing United Way they jumped at the unique opportunity.

“It’s amazing what can happen when two great organizations work together to accomplish a greater goal. The merging of United Way of Greater Milwaukee and United Way in Waukesha County shows people who live in southeastern Wisconsin that collaboration is alive and well in our community” said County Executive Abele.
County Executive Farrow said, “I’m proud to represent Waukesha County as the County Executive and am always looking for ways to work together to make the whole region stronger. The merger of two United Ways to form United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is a great example of the good things that come from hard work and collaboration.”
United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is proud to have so many strong community leaders stand up and show their support during our first combined campaign season. The county line, political lines; don’t matter to them when it comes to helping people in our 4-county region. They understand Great Things Happen When We Live United.
