Techquity Digital Navigators are trusted volunteer guides who assist community members in internet adoption and the use of computing devices. Digital navigation services include ongoing assistance with affordable internet access, device acquisition, technical skills, and application support. Techquity Digital Navigators will assist community members in internet adoption, the use of digital devices, and learning essential digital skills.
Time Commitment: The commitment is self-paced. After completing an initial Digital Navigator training and certification process, Digital Navigators could volunteer at events and trainings that range from 1 hour to 4+ hours, some of which will occur periodically over multiple months.
Compensation: Currently this is an unpaid volunteer position. If funding becomes available, we may be able to compensate Techquity Digital Navigators for their time with stipend payments.
