United Way Board Chair Plays It Cool with New Movie Trailers for United Way

With less than one week to go before United Way’s Community Campaign goal announcement, Board Chair Greg Marcus plays up United Way’s community impact with three new Marcus Theater spots. This is the fifth year that The Marcus Corporation President & CEO, Greg Marcus, performs in special movie trailers that promote the work of United Way. The trailers, created and sponsored by The Marcus Corporation, have been airing since October, but a special holiday version started to run on December 9 and will run through the end of the year. We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek and permission to share them ahead of time with you.

As part of the release of the new trailers they also created a fun blooper reel. "We put the blooper reel together to prove I was really playing the piano. When we saw it we realized it was too funny not to share!" said Greg Marcus.

The blooper reel will play exclusively at Marcus Theatres as part of the preshow. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to your movie show time to ensure you don’t miss it!

A fun fact: we asked Greg, a big movie buff, what his favorite movie was. He said, "I have a few, but if I had to pick one, it would be the Alfred Hitchcock movie North by Northwest starring Cary Grant. It's a classic."
