United Way's Emerging Leaders is a Donor Network comprised of philanthropic leaders who connect meaningfully, develop professionally, and serve collectively.

Nominators can work with their nominee to collect supporting materials such as an up-to-date resume, volunteer history, and any other relevant documentation that can help paint a full picture of their contributions.

All required materials must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

Give Back, Get Involved & Take Action: Use the prompts below to highlight how the nominee has distinguished themselves as a leader within our four-county region (Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha Counties). Each nominee will be evaluated on each of the three categories listed below. Each category will be weighed equally. Please provide specific examples of how the nominee made an impact on the community.

  1. Give Back: Describe how the nominee has made an impact on the local community through their philanthropic efforts including personal commitments and/or fundraising activities. (Max 1,500 characters)
  2. Get Involved: Describe how the nominee has provided leadership & mentorship skills including Board and Committee Service, formal and/or informal mentoring, and other relevant contributions. (Max 1,500 characters)
  3. Take Action: Describe how the nominee has Volunteered at community organizations including giving time, expertise, talent, and resources. Please distinguish between professional and personal commitments. (Max 1,500 characters)
